The National Labour Commission (NLC) has directed the leadership of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), together with the acting Registrar of the Births and Deaths Registry, to appear before it for discussions regarding ongoing tensions.
The meeting, slated for Thursday, June 19, 2025, is intended to facilitate resolution of any outstanding issues between the two parties.
In a bid to ensure a conducive environment for negotiations, the Commission has instructed CLOGSAG to halt its current industrial action until a final resolution is reached.
This latest development forms part of efforts to ensure stability and continued service delivery within the civil and local government structure. The Commission has expressed hope that dialogue will lead to an amicable outcome.
