The Minister for Energy has called on Ghanaians to exercise patience as the government works to resolve the country’s power challenges.
John Abdulai Jinapor assured the public that measures are being put in place to address the recurring issues in the energy sector.
Mr Jinapor explained that the government inherited a fragile energy sector, which has contributed to the current erratic power supply. However, he emphasized that efforts are underway to implement long-term solutions that will ensure stability.
“We inherited a very weak energy sector. Ghanaians should bear with us as we work to fix the problems permanently,” he stated.
He further assured citizens that the ongoing power disruptions would soon be resolved.
“The current erratic supply situation should be stable in two weeks’ time,” he added, expressing confidence in the government’s intervention strategies.
The Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening the energy sector to prevent future challenges.
He urged the public to remain patient as authorities work towards achieving a sustainable and reliable power supply for the country.
